Our Mission
LottoGen was created with a simple goal: to give every Lotto player access to a fast, reliable, and completely unbiased random number generator for Korean Lotto 6/45. We believe that choosing your numbers should be easy, free, and fun — without any gimmicks, misleading claims, or paid subscriptions.
We also believe in transparency. That's why we are upfront about how our generator works, what the real odds are, and what responsible lottery play looks like. We don't promise guaranteed wins or sell "hot number" systems — because mathematically, they don't work.
How the Generator Works
Our number generator uses JavaScript's built-in pseudorandom number generator (PRNG), which is based on the Xorshift128+ algorithm in modern browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. This algorithm produces statistically independent, uniformly distributed random numbers across the range 1 to 45.
Every time you press the "Generate Lucky Numbers" button, the following happens:
- Six unique random integers between 1 and 45 are independently generated.
- The numbers are sorted in ascending order for easy reading.
- The results are displayed with a brief animation.
No number is ever "more likely" than another. No past results are stored or factored in. Each generation is completely independent of any previous or future draw. This is the same mathematical fairness you can expect from any properly conducted physical lottery.
What We Are Not
We want to be clear about what LottoGen does not do:
- We do not sell lottery tickets. This site is a number generation tool only.
- We do not predict winning numbers. No one can predict lottery outcomes.
- We do not guarantee prizes or better odds. Every combination has an equal chance.
- We are not affiliated with NANUM LOTTO, the Korea Lottery Commission, or any official lottery operator.
- We do not charge any fees. LottoGen is and always will be completely free to use.
